Drifter is a solo exhibition at GR2 in 2017.
Chao created an exhibition of freshwater scenery in dioramas.
The narrative was inspired by the artist’s immigrant experience. It’s a simple story of a drifter passing through the forest on a river. The little guy was making new friends along the way to the unknown destination. Eventually he settled and planted a seed on the new land where he called home.
